My clients sing their song...loudly.
Can you relate?
You are ‘successful’ by most people's standards but it doesn’t feel true.
You question if you should just give up all this 'self-help' and just be a normal person, I mean...they seem happy?
You wonder if this is all that life has to offer? Should I just accept this?
Is it really possible to have it all?
Is it more discipline, better focus?
What's the missing ingredient?
Q: The most valuable piece of land on earth?
Is it Manhattan?
How about Dubai?
Well... It must be one of the seven wonders then?
No, no and no.
The most valuable piece of land?
"In the graveyard are buried all of the unwritten novels, never-launched businesses, unreconciled relationships and all of the other things that people thought, I'll get around to that tomorrow." One day however, their tomorrows ran out." - Todd Henry
Acres of land with dreams never pursued, never committed to.
Acres of land filled with 'what if's?'
Acres of land of people that held back, never truly committed and lived lifes without life in them.
Dreams that were cast aside in order to engage with the problems of today...
"Alas for those that never sing, but die with all their music in them." - Oliver Wendell Holmes
However, not everyone died having not sung their song.
There is a select group of people that really created lifes filled with truth, beauty and goodness.
Lifes that created impact in the world and thoroughly enjoyed their journey.
You might have read about these people, you know it's possible...
...maybe you have experienced glimpses here and there yourself.
But is it really possible to live a happy, fulfilled meaningful life of purpose?
I ask again...is it possible to have it all?
As individuals we all have a default trajectory of the way our lives our heading. If you continue to have the same job, same friends, same relationships, same food, same adventure, same everything... where will you be in 1 year?
In 5 years?
In 25 years?
Do you really believe that you can create this ‘dream life’?
I asked these questions to myself quite often in times of demoralisation and desperation.
Are all my efforts for nothing?
Personal development and the billion dollar self-help industry tells you that the secret is the morning ritual!
No...wait, the actual secret is to meditate more!
Ugh. That's not it.
The real secret is to read this limited time book!
...and order 25 more copies for your friends.
The secret is in the law of attraction!
The secret is to work harder! DO MORE!
Elon Musk works 24 hours days? Why can't you?
You know what, the secret must be in the next podcast you listen to.
The secret is to (fill in the blank).
As a man on this earth I stand against this.
The secret method is that there is no secret method.
What an absolutely beautiful moment it is.
The moment that happens during a coaching conversation when their mind becomes limitless.
When they see what's possible.
When their eyes light up after finding the dream behind the dream.
When they reconnect with their inner song.
The facial expression is always the same.
A face filled with an inner knowing, wonder, curiosity, fear and possibility.
Sometimes this moment only lasts a few seconds before they cut off that train of thought.
That? That’s not possible.
Sometimes that moment lasts for the rest of their life, because when you realize what's possible it becomes your lighthouse.
I am committed to making that scary dream into concrete reality.
My clients constantly create miracles.
They make the ‘impossible’ possible.
I work with a select few individuals that have a strong bias for action.
Individuals that decided once and for all they will not tolerate the mundane, the average, the mediocre.
Individuals that are committed to living a life of excellence in ALL areas.
It’s not easy.
It requires deep, root level change.
It’s intense and honestly it’s not for most people.
When I say it's not for most people, I genuinely mean it. It's not.
I'm not saying this in marketing speak, but seriously. This commitment to excellence will bring you to your knees, make you cry, wring in agony.
However, if you are at the point where are seriously fed up by where you are at in your life, then maybe deep one-on-one coaching is right for you.
People ask me all the time, “what do you do?”
If I’m being honest with you I never understood this question.
What do I do? I do a lot of things.
What do I do? Well I meditate twice a day.
What do I do? I love life.
What do I do? I create.
What do I do? I swim with dolphins.
You can see where this is going...
I answer whatever comes to mind at this moment.
Sometimes, very rarely though, I answer differently.
I get real with them.
There’s a subtle difference in how someone asks a question as a habit routine versus being genuinely curious.
When someone is genuinely curious in what I do, then I answer.
“I have long life-changing conversations with people”.
It's really simple for me.
I talk to someone, I let my curiosity be my compass.
What are you passionate about?
What are you excited about nowadays?
What's your biggest challenge right now?
Are you doing what you love?
If their answer is a 'hell yes' for me I invite them into a conversation.
I warn them, I make sure they understand what they are getting into.
This is brain surgery.
The conversation will be life-changing if you choose it to be.
If you come in ready, energized, open.
If you are willing to go 'there'...
...Because I am.
They call you the 'Courage Coach'?
Yes, I show people how to develop world class courage and take bold action in their lives.
Before I begin, I have to warn you that I'm kind of, and by kind of I mean VERY passionate about courage.
That cool with you? Great let's continue.
Definition of courage: the ability to do something that frightens one.
The difference between a coward and a courageous man is that the courageous man feels the fear just like the coward but he still acts anyway.
It's a commitment to deliberate action rather than following your emotions in the moment.
"Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage." - Anais Nin
Many moons ago, there was a man in psychology named Martin Seligman.
He was looking at all the research, the studies, the reports from everywhere and it was all negative.
It was talking about sadness, depression, disease.
If the goal was happiness then why are we talking about depression?
With this inspiration he created the field of positive psychology, which means the study of happiness.
As I develop the discipline of psychology within myself, I look around the field and there is a great movement discussing fear.
Fear is the enemy.
Fear this, fear that, fear of rejection, fear of success, fear of fear.
Why do we continue to discuss fear, when we must learn to develop and appreciate the virtue of courage?
I most likely will be chastised for this, but I believe it 100%
Courage is the root of all greatness that's ever been created.
The courage to speak your truth..
The courage to dream big.
The courage to do the hard things.
The courage to persevere on a commitment.
The courage to express yourself.
The courage to follow your heart and intuition.
The courage to be yourself.
The courage to be a leader in the world of followers.
The courage to stand up for what is right.
The courage to be vulnerable.
The courage to suffer, to admit you failed, to admit you made a mistake.
The courage to cry and suffer.
The courage to be happy.
The courage to take risks.
The courage to leave your comfort zone.
The courage to have faith.
The courage to be a king.
The courage love.
The courage to seek beauty.
The courage to follow your path.
All of these expressions of courage come from overcoming fear.
"Can a man be brave if he's afraid? That is the only time a man can be brave." Game of thrones
"Courage doesn't always roar. sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says i'll try again tomorrow." - Mary Anne Radmacher.
Time and time again, you will be met with fear.
Time and time again you must continue to move forward, to take bold action no matter how terrible the moment feels.
It's time to stand for something.
It's time to connect to our hearts, and live a courageous ALIVE life.
My clients know this, are committed to living a life of excellence and understand the cost.
We go through consistent comfort zone challenges to eradicate their limiting beliefs, fears and blockages that are keeping them small.
It will cost you more than money.
Working with me is not for everyone.
It must be a HELL YES! for both of us.
It requires an emotional commitment.
It requires a bias for action.
It requires a financial commitment.
It requires a commitment to commitment.
It requires a financial commitment.
It requires energy.
When you are ready to play at this level, we will talk.
